SafeStart supports the safety community with $250,000 in sponsorships

The SafeStart division of Electrolab Limited has committed to investing over a quarter of a million dollars with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Safety Council (NSC), the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA) and other smaller organizations involved in safety improvements.

“With our sponsorships we want to emphasize the importance of taking safety beyond the confines of the workplace to where it is desperately needed”, Larry Wilson advocates. “NSC research1 shows that workers are 15 times more likely to die accidentally off-the-job or on-the-road than at work. And even worse, thousands of children are dying every year due to unintentional injury. With SafeStart, we have the ability to change this, but without the collective awareness and support from safety-conscious people everywhere the change will be harrowingly slower.”

Electrolab requests that you show your support for safety by investigating NAOSH Week, the ASSE, NSC, VPPPA and SafeStart for your company and community.
