On Sunday, August 28, Tim Page-Bottorff and Jack Jackson will engage in a pre-conference workshop from 1:00pm–5:00pm. They will be speaking on Prevention is Better than Reaction: Securing Your Future, discussing how situational awareness can affect workplace productivity and performance.
On Tuesday, August 30 from 10:30–11:30am Gary Higbee will deliver Slaying the Monsters Through Better Observations. He will describe how to kill the “monsters” that negatively influence safety performance, quality and production through an effective observation process.
Later on Tuesday, from 3:15–4:15pm, Tim Page-Bottorff will deliver Humor in Safety: From Blah Blah Blah to Ha Ha Aha! Tim will show attendees how adding a bit of humor to safety training can make their presentations interesting and fun.
If you miss Tim’s Humor in Safety workshop on Tuesday, don’t worry—he’s delivering it again on Wednesday, August 31 from 8:30–9:30am.
Later on Wednesday from 1:30pm–2:30pm, you won’t want to miss Jack Jackson present Ten Feet Tall and Bullet Proof. This workshop will address why people think “that can’t happen to me” and how to improve your site’s safety culture.
On the final day of the conference on Thursday, September 1, start the morning with Danny Smith’s The Other Side of the Coin: Making a Financial Case for Safety. From 8:30–9:30am Danny will discuss how cost savings can be achieved through reduced injuries and overall improved performance.
