In this session, Joe recalls an event from 1983 when he was nearly buried alive. Joe discusses how not focusing on the SafeStart states of rushing, frustration, fatigue, and complacency contributed to him making serious mistakes that almost led him to die on the job. Joe will discuss critical error reduction techniques that will help workers recognize and avoid these types of incidents in their own lives.
