Strategic Communication Tools for Your Safety Culture at the BLR Safety Culture Conference

Workplace culture and engagement is where safety lies. But according to Gallup, only 32 percent of U.S. employees are engaged in their jobs. And if they’re not engaged in their jobs, how can they be engaged in workplace safety? Especially when core safety messages, values and communication tools are lacking.

SafeStart Senior Safety Consultant Tim Page-Bottorff will discuss this subject during his session Safety Culture Straight Talk: Strategic Communication Tools for Getting Your Messaging to Stick at the Safety Culture 2017 conference.

Tim will share strategies and tips on how to involve company leaders in developing safety messages for a successful workplace culture. He will also provide tips for creating snappy and memorable safety messages and show you how to tailor them for the intended audiences.

The Safety Culture 2017 conference will be held at the Marriott Austin Downtown Convention Center on September 11-12. It offers attendees a chance to see new ways of enhancing safety compliance, attend presentations and workshops, as well as network with presenters, experts and EHS professionals.

Make sure you don’t miss Tim’s session on September 11 from 1:35 p.m.–2:35 p.m. He is an experienced certified safety professional and an engaging speaker who brings enthusiasm, stories and humor into his presentations. Treat yourself to a preview—take a look at his thoughts on the importance of humor in safety training.
